I did it again!!!
Tucker and Carter brought this paper home from school and they had to dress up like Dr. Suess characters today at school so this is what I came up with! I asked Keith if I went to far and he said no… I think that maybe I did, but they look awesome!

Our Little Hippie Boy!

Last August!

This is 6 months later.... Feb 09
Yes we have a little hippie at our house. I was scrapbooking lately and I came across his first day of school, which is the first photo and I couldn’t believe how much his hair grew in 6 months! I wish mine grew that fast but without the gray!! He gets alot of grief about his hair so I will tell you the little story behind it! When we were in West Bend last summer when Julie and the kids were packing to leave to Washington. Tucker saw Kyle and has always loved him and just kind of followed him around like a little puppy. Well as some of you may know Kyle’s hair was getting pretty long. Well after that Tucker just kept saying “mom I want my hair like Kyle Schafer’s”. If you even talk about cutting it he doesn’t like it and says “no you are not going to cut my hair, I want it long like Kyle’s.” I think it all goes to the impact that Kyle had on my kids. They talk about them and they ask if we are ever going to see them again. I say yes. I hope we do and I am sure some day we will but wish it was sooner than later. I guess I can’t make him cut it because of his reason… I think about and laugh because either Kirk is mad as hell because of their long hair or he is giggling. I would like to think he is giggling and calling them both (Kyle and Tucker) girls… Just a thought!
Nothing much
Not much going on at the Newton house but Keith and I trying to get over this upper respitory infection/sinus infection/cold stuff that is going around. YUCK! I hope that we feel better by this weekend because we go to state with Carter for wrestling. We are pretty excited for him to do this! Just a cool experience for him! I hope that everyone is staying warm and healthy!
